I love my people — Tony, Annette, and Janelle have been my rocks for a number of years, personally and professionally. Since joining CKR, I have in a very short time grown to respect and love total strangers — some I have never met in person yet! Everyone has been as helpful and supportive as I like to think I would be/have been at times for them. I really love you people at CKR. I appreciate the chance here. Client-wise, I particularly like making real connections. I love that moment where the emails stop and the calls come in — we actually talk things through, solve problems with voice rather than e-dictate. I love it when a client's first inclination in meeting in person is to give a hearty hug. Handshakes will do but making that connection that spurs a bit more of an emotional, appreciative response is awesome. I want happy clients. In the same breath, I have always embraced over the years the "impossible client". They never bother me and get me down. I want those that no one else can work with, it's a challenge and I like that.
Being part of a kick-butt team – lucky me, I get to spend my days surrounded by people who share a strong work ethic, know what teamwork really and truly means and have a killer sense of humor. I am passionate about them and making sure every day we all come in wanting to achieve and build something great for each other and our clients. On the client service side, it’s really all about being a good problem solver. I thoroughly enjoy that every day is different and the constant new challenges/curve balls are what I thrive on. I love working on all aspects of coming up w/the solution – research, strategy, creative – to make things come together and see the efforts succeed.
When it comes to work, I’m passionate about continually improving upon the past. In other words, we can always do better than our last project. This helps to make sure we’re on top of our game in terms of being an industry leader in career website experiences, as well as giving a benefit to our partners for future enhancements on their projects. The better we are the more positive impacts we can deliver to our partners.
I'm such a people person and enjoy working with clients and co-workers. The best part of my job is working with clients on projects and having the satisfaction of a “job well done.” The challenge of meeting timelines and balancing everything is what I look forward to every day!
I really love when you work incredibly hard for a client and they appreciate all of your hard work. I also love the creativity of this job. Even if we aren't creating the advertisements ourselves in Account Service, we are still involved in the creative direction. It's also very rewarding when the client values your opinion.

Have you ever watched Simon Sinek’sTEDx talk about the golden circle? If you haven’t you should. He talks about how important the “why” is when making choices in your life. I ask myself everyday why am I doing this? In every job I’ve ever had I have found a “why” at the core of it that pushed me to care about what I do because I cared about why I was doing it. At CKR I care about helping the right people get into the right positions by making those opportunities more visible. I get to be a part of the next chapter in a complete strangers life and I love that!
Doing great work with smart, passionate people (clients and colleagues). This means making an investment in what you do, who you’re doing it for, and who you’re doing it with. And doing this with a focus on efficiency (i.e. work smarter, not harder) and intellectual honesty.

I love being part of a team and working together to accomplish one common goal/vision. I also love knowing that I’m using my skills/talents to contribute to a company’s success and that all the time and energy I spent on school wasn’t for nothing.
I really enjoy being able to learn new things on a daily basis. The benefit of the learning is it allows me to do things more efficiently, which is something I strive for. I also enjoy being creative in solving problems that come up and doing things in a way that others may not have thought of. I also like that there’s a lot of opportunity in recruitment marketing to improve the industry from a technology perspective.
When it comes to designing in a work environment, I aim for the most functional and creative solution. I take pride in my work as I feel it is a reflection of myself and my capabilities.
